Share your graph using swivel

Yesterday I found Many Eyes a service used to create and share some graphs to visualize your data, and his morning,Deepak also found Swivel which seems to be a similar product. However wile you have to copy and paste your data in ManyEyes, you can upload a csv file with Swivel.

I tried to create the same graph I did with openeyes and dbSNP yesterday, but I was not able to create a graph which could compare two columns in the same data-set, and moreover swivel doesn't stop to say "Swivel has not started swiveling this data yet. It'll be worth the wait".... and I've not time to investigate this further....

Hi Pierre,

Thanks for trying out Swivel. I'm sorry you were not able to create the graph you desired. If I found the data set you are referring to, the only graph Swivel created for your data was this one.

Your data had two columns in it? What type of graph were you looking to have Swivel create?

Your feedback, if you have a minute to spare, is very valuable to us.

Hi (again). I went and grabbed the data from your earlier blog post and uploaded it into Swivel. I'd love to know your feedback on what you see here:

Your data set does a great job of highlighting the differences (and complements) between Swivel and Many Eyes. Their visualizations are awesome. We don't touch treemaps right now, for example.

Our approach is to slice the data in a bunch of ways and generate graphs and then let you cruise through them to see if any insights pop out at you.

Please let me know what you think.
